Rumsam Family Tree - It start here

Well actually it doesn't but every family tree has to start somewhere and this web site concentrates on the descendents of George Rumsam⁽¹⁾ born in Combe Martin in 1753.

George married Christian Cutcliffe (born about 1760) who's ancestry goes back to the time of William the Conqueror and even to French Royalty.

George's⁽¹⁾ son George⁽²⁾ who was born in 1783 and his son George⁽³⁾ born in 1820 are the starting point for all of the Rumsam families on this web site.

The reference numbers against each George ^{(1) (2) (3)} are to help clarify things when talking about their descendents etc.
